Dental Assisting

As a 600 clock hour program this program will take about 6 months to complete which includes a 80-hour externship training provided at dental offices preparing students to be workforce ready after completion of the program.

  • Methods and Materials Utilized in Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment of Periodontal and Other Dental Diseases

In the Dental Assisting program, you may also earn the following certifications:

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

  • American Medical Technologists Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

  • Ohio State Dental Board Radiographer's License

Dental Assisting Admission Requirements

  • Provide official transcripts or high school diploma or equivalent.
