The growing number of sophisticated climate-control systems is expected to increase demand for qualified HVAC&R technicians. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a much faster than average job growth for HVAC&R mechanics and installers 2028. The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration program offers you a path to a career that includes residential and commercial training in HVAC&R systems.

What This Program Teaches

  • Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration safety

  • Heating and air conditioning installation and diagnostic service procedures

  • Basic electricity

  • Fuels, controls, proper venting, soldering, and sheet metal duct work

Certifications

At the end of the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration program, you may also earn the following certifications:

  • EPA Refrigerant Handling (608) (includes High Pressure Refrigerant)

  • National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) CORE

  • NCCER HVACR Level 1

  • NCCER HVACR Level 2

  • NCCER HVACR Level 3

  • Provide official transcripts or high school diploma or equivalent.
