Behind the scenes (or building) major upgrades are underway.
Over that last several weeks, under the leadership of the Hammond Construction, several construction crews have been busy with operating heavy equipment and moving mounds of earth in the area behind the main building. Crews are working on the new site for the wastewater treatment plant, as the existing wastewater plant needs to be replaced due to age (50 years) of the current plant. This plant is used by both the high school and adult education buildings. Once the new wastewater treatment plant is installed, the existing plant will be removed.

The next phase of the project will occur to the high school building in early summer, with interior demolition and the creation of two lab spaces, Cybersecurity and Criminal Justice (multi-purpose space), for use during the 2024-25 school year.
